Overview

One URL in, a scored report out. The public site is the product: scan, join free, upgrade when you need full reports and monitoring.

Architecture

Next.js on slayslop.com, NestJS on api.slayslop.com, Postgres and Redis behind it. Scans run as jobs. Polar handles plans and checkout. Evidence stays attached to each finding so a fix is obvious.

Challenges

Keeping a free scan useful without dumping the whole report. Ranking findings so the first screen is the real risk, not a wall of checks. Wiring billing limits to scan cadence and client handoff without making the free path feel broken.
